Our Murphy Bed Frames

Our Murphy Beds and Side Beds use a solid steel frame with a powder-coated, charcoal color finish.

Our frame has different tension variable rate springs. This allows our frames to be counter-balanced to meet the needs of different brands and styles of mattresses. It also allows for easy, one-handed operation of the Murphy Bed, enabling both young and old to be able to use our products quickly and safely with just a finger.

It can support any regular size mattress up to 12" thick. (For 12" mattresses, you will need to a 20" deep Murphy Bed. If your mattress is 9" thick, you will can have either a 15" deep or 20" deep.)

Foundations are used with a Murphy Bed for the same reasons that they are used with a conventional mattress. The foundation adds support to the mattress and prevents you or your guests from "feeling" the support crossbars. Additionally, they enables air to flow to the underside of the mattress, allowing it to "breathe."
