Murphy Bed FAQs
We attach the bed to the wall with anchor bolts. Whether wood or metal framing, our team is trained to handle both. We drill through a 1" piece of solid wood for extra support.
Our Queen Wall Bed measures 66" wide, 85" tall, 15–20" deep and projects 94" into the room when open. Full Wall Beds measure 60" wide, 85" tall, 10" deep and project 89" when open.
Yes, we include our 9.5-inch Inner Spring mattress (standard size). You can upgrade to a 10-inch Memory Foam mattress or provide your own mattress as long as it is 9–11 inches deep.
We offer Twin, Full, and Queen sized wall beds.
Yes, the panel beds can be moved but we recommend using an experienced handyman or carpenter. We can provide referrals if needed.
No. Pillows must be removed before closing. Leaving pillows in the murphy bed can cause severe damage to the headboard and panels, and could void the warranty.
Gaps are needed for the mechanism, which needs space to open and close and allow the bottom to tilt in and out. Uneven gaps of about 1/8" are due to wall and floor leveling. The mechanism needs to be used up to 10 times to fully settle in place.
